    What this Job Entails:

    The Network Provisioning Engineer II is the focal point for all internal and external orders required to maintain the network. This position requires the ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to details.

    Scope: 

    • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

    • Receives detailed instructions

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Participate in implementation of various software services 
    • Assist team in reviewing ticket requirements, reserving router interface, assigning patch panel demarcation, designing path, track FOC and DLR, requesting patching between equipment, and ordering cross-connects
    • Help track milestones and proactively drive any activities that may jeopardize orders from completing on time
    • Provide thorough and timely status throughout the entire implementation life cycle in the tracking system; including communicating vendor provisioning/install lead times
    • Document service requests, escalate as needed, and provide timely and accurate updates
    • Aid in design, provision, and test of delivered services to ensure quality hand-off to internal customers
    • Expedite and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
    • Help prioritize projects, manage and direct activities to deliver connectivity within project schedule
    • Communicate and collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders and network carriers
    • Assist with metrics development and operational reporting/reviews
    • Support planned systems maintenance activity while minimizing impact to services
    • Read and comprehend vendor specific requirements 
    • Deploy and support client global production network including edge, backbone, data center, and content delivery network infrastructure.
    • Provide Technical Leadership and guidance during deployment activities in the client data centers and POPs, including in the areas of facility power, cooling, rack layout and cable management, physical equipment installation, network equipment configuration, testing and handoff for production traffic.

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

    Scope:

    Your Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Follow standard operating, ticketing procedures and work instructions to image, update and resolve computer and software application issues for new and existing employees.

    • Maintain equipment inventory, including processing RMAs and ordering new equipment.

    • Maintain physical presence at designated service locations and time for employees to pick up the user's computer, or deliver to the end-user.

    • Participates in monitoring, updating and maintaining tickets in a defined ticketing system. 

    • Responds to tickets, contacts users and plans workload. 

    • Update, track and escalate the ticket to appropriate levels/group for resolution as required. 

    • Sign off on closed tickets with the user to include follow up specifically to the end user.

    • Provide routine software and hardware troubleshooting support to employees to resolve common IT problems.

    Core responsibilities of the position  

    Provide exceptional support for all aspects of technology provided by the IT department via phone, email, chat, and other supported channels.
    Use of ticketing system to track customer issues and provide timely updates to all stakeholders from initial diagnosis, through troubleshooting, and into resolution or escalation.
    Perform troubleshooting and provide customer service up to the executive level with excellent communication and follow through. 
    Effectively multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced IT setting and balance the demands of daily and routine assignments with long-term projects.
    Install and configure AV equipment and assist users in the set up and operation of AV systems.
    Ensure conference/meeting room AV systems are maintained and in good operating condition. Perform IT-related setup, support, and breakdown for large meetings and events.
    Perform regular testing/maintenance/upgrades of all internal AV systems via regular room sweeps.
    Aid with computer and mobile hardware and software, printing, office products, electronic messaging and audio-visual technology in accordance with established policies/procedures.  
    Initiate escalations as appropriate to ensure management is aware of problems that are severe in nature or that exceed documented targets.
    Regularly develop knowledge of emerging technologies and provide proactive options on how to effectively solve common issues.
    Track IT hardware assets and their respective configurations for potential reuse or retirement.
    Create and document routine IT processes and procedures.
    Develop strong relationships with internal customers, vendor, affiliates, and peers.


    Required Qualification and Experience 

    Minimum 2-4 years of Service Desk, Call Center, IT Help Desk experience in an enterprise environment.
    Demonstrated clear and effective verbal & written communication skills.
    Excellent Customer Service experience and follow through with attention to detail.
    Expertise with Windows operating system and Office 365 suite and other Microsoft applications and toolsets.
    Experience with IT Knowledge Base and ticketing system.
    Experience applying ITSM best practices to Incident and Service Requests management.
    Knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
    Experience with AV technology and supporting various unified communications platforms (Zoom & Teams).

    Salary Range

    $105,260.00 - $166,200.00 USD (Salary)

    Astreya is looking for an experienced IT Technical Support Generalist with experience in inventory management to join our services team.  You will work to support Astreya’s  ever-expanding customer base and ensure support results in consistently high quality user support experiences.  The successful candidate will be familiar with industry best practices and the willingness to go above and  beyond for our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Setup and configuration of all MAC OS, PCs
    • Knowledge in zero touch deployment for MACs and PC
    • Experience with JAMF self-service management and command-line
    • Imaging and reimaging of MAC’s Laptops to latest OS Version and Windows
    • Backup and Restoration of End User Data
    • Provide accurate asset information within the ticketing system to ensure an accurate asset database
    • Perform refresh of end-user devices in alignment with refresh schedules
    • Assist with inventory activities as required weekly and monthly
    • Proper Documentation of End User Issues within Service Now
    • Create, modify, and maintain MAC processes and policies
    • Provide occasional level 1 technology support and deliver the best possible solution resulting in a high quality user experience.
    • Ensure assigned requests for support are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
    • Document and escalate issues which cannot be resolved within the SLA.
    • Proactively communicate to your supervisor when you encounter errors in documented support procedures.
    • Track IT assets and follow the inventory management guidelines Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, and other peripheral equipment
    • Adhere to incident management, problem management, change management, and knowledge management best practices.
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Mac OS X, Linux Fundamentals, Hardware Level troubleshooting, Hardware Installation, Upgrades.
    • Knowledge of basic functionality and use of various mobile devices (iOS, Android, etc.)
    • Knowledge of hardware (desktop/laptop) deployment methods using image deployment tools.
    • Ability to quickly diagnose, organize, and prioritize competing deadlines and properly setting service expectations with clients
    • Self-motivated and the ability to execute tasks and handle  time sensitive situations
    • 3-5+ Years of experience and or education

    Desired Qualifications

    • CompTIA A+ Certification.
    • Experience using an industry standard ITSM platform such as Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.
    • Windows 11 Certification (MS 680 &/or 53301)
    • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification
