Inventory Technicians are responsible for providing the Astreya user experience. Scope:

Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Handle inventory and asset management, conference room preventative maintenance, and e-recycling
Support a complex and fast paced environment focused on video conference rooms with outstanding attention to customer satisfaction
Help to ensure audio and visual quality, troubleshooting any issues that may arise and any requests from meeting attendees.
Deploy and recover laptop and desktop images

Our Hardware Organization seeks an energetic and resourceful Device Room Operations Specialist to assist program teams with materials management, distribution of hardware prototype devices and materials, shipping, and receiving. You will be responsible for coordinating the resources necessary for the development and validation of our device hardware products. Our preferred candidate is a thoughtful, customer-focused organizer who can prioritize and track details. This is an on-site contract position in our beautiful Oakland office. You will report to the Program Manager responsible for Device Room Operations and Hardware Asset Management. Overtime may be requested occasionally.
You will:
● Staff our help desk: fulfill ongoing requests for devices and materials. Assist users in identifying available allocation and suitable configurations for their specific development needs.
● Process, track, and manage inbound, outbound, domestic, and international shipments for on-time delivery.
● Communicate shipment status, escalate issues as necessary.
● Receive and distribute prototype devices and materials. Reconcile inventory. Negotiate allocation shortages.

• The SOC Analyst is responsible for delivering operations within the SOC (Service Operations Center) across all datacenter sites in the respective regions. SOC analysts are expected to respond to all security, safety, and facilities issues notified via various means such as alarms/alerts set in SAOS, DCIM, Grafana, SOAR, Avigilon and other functions (EHS, Security, etc)
• Investigating and responding to alerts and active attacks, user security related questions/reports, incident response (war room, remote bridges) and report, and on-going maintenance, tuning, and improvements of the detection signals
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct in-depth investigation of alerts
• First layer of defense - responsible for quick detection and incident response using various monitoring and automation tools, conduct thorough investigation of alerts, classification and triage
• Prepares incident reports of analysis methodology and results
• Point of contact for all site specific alerts and issues, incident commander in event of an issue
• Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access control systems

Basic Qualifications
• 2 years+ experience in command center, service center, or similar 24x7 operations center environment

• Basic knowledge of some technical elements associated with security systems such as IP networks, servers, LAN/WAN
